THE BRICK BOX TOOTING LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

Brick Box Tooting

This micro arts venue has just opened in Tooting, London, with a radical new premise. No public funding, no swanky gallery - instead a self-funded model integrated into the heart of the Great British Market. It's run by Eleanor, a former client who was director at the Bradford Playhouse, who asked us to 'bring some magic' to her new venue.

Building around their existing logo, we created a launch campaign to let people know that their local market - whilst still very much a shopping destination - could now offer something else alongside the usual groceries.

Having a shoestring budget doesn’t mean you have to stick to online only. It just means it’s time to ‘do-it-yourself’ a bit. The guys took to the streets with their placards and handed out some leaflets, and the venue itself looked great with it’s new branding, which we installed ourselves.

We also used Mailchimp to create some e-mail campaigns in the run up to the Tooting launch. A free system for many clients, it's a great way to inexpensively contact lots of people whilst remaining slick and on-brand.

Results - a 150% increase in Twitter following,'a huge increase' in web traffic and enquiries, lots press gained across London including being the top event in TimeOut for the Easter weekend - and a happy client...
