MAIN STREET MOSAICS
Rotherham Council and Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance commissioned twenty-five and a half to decorate a 95m long hoarding surrounding the site of the new council building; selecting Adam's idea from over one hundred proposals from all over the UK.

The former location of an important factory in Rotherham, Adam is creating a mosaic from steel washers, to add a local twist on this traditional media. The imagery will celebrate and communicate the council services that will be housed on this new development and engages with the public to spread the word about what it means for them and their town.

Engaging with the public has also provided an outlet to publicise the project and further the council's aims to let people know what is going on in their town centre. By working with local schools, adults and community groups, Adam is creating animations that can be shared via the council's website and displayed on screens around the town centre. Take a look at www.mainstreetmosaics.co.uk for more information as the project progresses.
